Unfortunately, due to high demand and the short turnaround time between guests, early check-in cannot be guaranteed. Our housekeeping team needs sufficient time to prepare the property to the required standard before your arrival.
If the property is ready earlier than expected, we'll always do our best to let you know.
Should you have a special request relating to your arrival or check-in, please get in touch with us and we'll do our best to help where possible.
If you're arriving in Edinburgh before your check-in time, please note that we're also unable to store luggage at the property before check-in. We recommend using one of the nearby luggage storage services listed below.

As many of our properties are located in Edinburgh city centre, only four of our properties have designated off-street parking.
For most properties, there is no private parking available on-site. However, you should be able to find street parking nearby, which can be useful for dropping off or collecting luggage.

Yes, we recommend booking popular restaurants and attractions in advance, particularly during busy periods.
This is particularly important for:
- Guided tours of the city and/or popular attractions.
- Whisky tastings and distillery experiences
- August, during the Edinburgh Festivals
- The Christmas and New Year Period.
Scotland has an incredible food and drink scene, so if there is somewhere you particularly want to eat during your stay, we recommend reserving it as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
For more flexible plans, there are also plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants that accept walk-ins.
Edinburgh is a very walkable city, and many of its main attractions are within easy reach of the city centre.
However, please be aware that Edinburgh is also quite hilly, with cobbled streets, and steps in some areas, particularly around the Old Town.
We recommend wearing comfortable, supportive footwear, especially if you plan to spend the day exploring on foot.
The weather in Edinburgh, being a maritime climate, can change quickly, even with in the same day, so it's a good idea to take an extra layer or light waterproof jacket with you when heading out.
If you have limited mobility or would prefer not to walk long distances, Edinburgh also has a good network of buses, trams and taxis to help you get around more easily.
