Elegant Georgian Retreat with Sweeping Views of Arthur’s Seat

This house is unbelievable. It is stunning and every detail is so well designed. Spacious for our group of 8 adults. Walkable, but also separate from the hectic touristy areas. We would stay here again no doubt! Marco was easy to communicate with and gave us a good tour of the house when we arrived.

We loved this beautiful house. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Marco was super responsive to questions. The garden was absolutely spectacular. I’ll dream of staying here again one day in charming Edinburgh

The property manager met us there and was very nice and helpful. But on looking around my daughter in law found Nicotine powder pouches in on of the bedrooms. Also a tin of them under the couch in the front room along with empty beer bottles. As we had young children with us if they ingested the Nicotine it could have killed them.

Fantastic property!! Large comfortable space, very nicely furnished, great location. The property is very original in styling and furnishings, beautiful garden with terrace was great for breakfast or drinks. Marco gave us a quick tour at check in and was very responsive before and during our stay. Truly lovely property and overall fantastic experience!

The property presented well. The location was perfect for Uber to pick/dropoff our large group (8 people) for tours, etc. I'd recomend Marco (our host) and the property to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh.

Stunning, large home. Beautifully decorated - touring the house was one of the highlights of our stay in Edinburgh. I was worried it may photograph large but be small - but have no fear! Ceilings must be 14' high, rooms are generous, two living rooms and well appointed bedrooms. Location is a ~10 min walk away from most anything, but super easy to snag a cab/Uber from your front door.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was one of the best airbnb's we have stayed in and we have stayed in many, all over the world. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet, lovely surroundings and perfect location to see all the sights of Edinburgh. Highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future!

Marco (the host) is fantastic. Very personal, professional and accomodating.One thing to be aware of, there is no dedicated car parking, so you have to juggle paid parking during weekdays. Not uncommon in Edinburgh. We managed that no problem.The home is authentically decorated with beautiful furniture, fitout and equipment. It strikes the perfect balance between rustic and contemporary comfort. It’s also worth mentioning the glorious terraced private garden and the breathtaking views of Arthur’s Seat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this sophisticated hilltop sanctuary.

A cãs é espetacular! Muito bem decorada ! Arquitetura antiga é uma mistura de clássico e moderno, cheia de detalhes. Top! A localização tb é espetacular porque sendo perto do centro parece que se está no campo, rua muito tranquila com verde por todos os lados. O anfitrião foi espetacular em todas as interações. Marco was very kind and responsive and the place had all the amenities and kitchen appliances we expected. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that all the furniture in the sitting rooms were extremely dated and worn out, to the point that we didn’t enjoy sitting in either space as the cushions were flat and uncomfortable. For the price we paid I would have expected slightly more comfortable couches and chairs. The beds were extremely comfortable though! We had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We had an incredible stay at Regent Terrace. The house was one of the most amazing airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house was extremely spacious for 8 guests and well thought out - we had thoughtful amenities such as logwood for the fireplace and lovely toiletries throughout. The interior design was so beautifully done, there was art in every corner and each room had a unique vibe. We were extremely happy with the property. The location was also great, we had amazing views of Arthur’s Seat, and it took under 10 mins to walk into town. Marco was also a really great host. He was incredibly responsive and let us check in early which was very kind. Thank you so much!

Our stay was perfect! Communication was very good, Marco was very helpfull when we asked for a baby cot and baby high chair. Overall very very good experience! Location was good. The house is very beautiful.

Excellence! Positive: A truly amazing house, with a superb interior design. Four bedrooms which can accommodate two in each (three with a queen bed and one with two single beds), all together eight people. Three full bathrooms. A great kitchen, two lovely living rooms, and to top it off, a nice garden in the back. One last thing that took our stay all the way to the very top; our host Marko! Flexibly and service oriented to the max. Thanks again, Marko! Negative: Nothing!

Marco was very responsive, professional, and pleasant. The cleaners did a nice job. The linens and towels were new. The views are great. The espaliered fruit trees are lovely. Nice location. This home is the most expensively-decorated AirBnB in which we’ve ever stayed. But it’s very vintage. This home was built in the early 1800s. Previously, we stayed in a London row house and a Cotswolds cottage both from the 1700s. Just like this Georgian Retreat, both previous AirBnbs were rich in history from the same time period, but both were updated to feel fresh and modern. Unfortunately, this home has not had the same modernization. Some of the bathroom fixtures and laundry are new, but overall it feels like staying in a museum. For some, this vintage and antique feeling will be ideal. For us, the space was just too dated, fragile, musty, dark, and antiquated. Again, the property manager and cleaners are great, but the space itself is just not what we hoped.

地理位置优越，离火车站步行15分钟之内，房子窗外就是亚瑟王座，去王子街和各景点步行都在20-30分钟之内，步行五分钟就是卡尔顿山，早上还去看了日出。房子很有设计感，每一个细节都很喜欢，符合房子200多年历史的沉淀，展现历史人物的生活方式，又与现代时空链接，周围很安静，不去外面逛可以在房子里呆一整天，房东很好，回复及时，很推荐这个民宿，下次来爱丁堡还会选择住这里
