This property was centrally located to all the sights and also many fine restaurants. Everything from check-in to check-out went as planned. Marco was very good at communicating with me and answered all my various questions. It was a plus to have a washer and dryer in the property - an amenity that you don’t fine in many rentals. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Good stuff and not so good stuff Positive: Clean and convenient to the castle and the royal mile. Negative: Dryer didn't work very well. We had to hang some items. Microwave needs instructions. Keurig or regular coffee pot needed. Hall shower doors did not meet together, causing leak.

Estancia increíble en Edimburgo! Positive: El apartamento es espectacular!!! Está equipado con todo lo necesario. Es muy amplio, tanto las habitaciones, baños, cocina y el comedor es increíble. Marco está muy disponible para ayudar en lo que necesites y el trato con el fue excelente. La localización es excepcional, sales a la calle y estás en frente del castillo al lado de princess st. Sin duda no pudimos escoger mejor sitio para disfrutar de Edimburgo! Negative: Solo comentar, que las escaleras de bajada son estrechas, y que a veces baja gente para revisar contadores y recoger ropa de cama de las habitaciones de enfrente para lavandería y te puede asustar si no lo sabes.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh Positive: The location was fantastic, right in New Town area ,but down a one way street, so less traffic. The apartment was beautiful, 2 bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds,lovely lounge room, a great kitchen with all the facilities we needed. Negative: The only consideration is the steep stairs down to the apartment . You need to be careful when carrying luggage down and up.

Convenient and comfortable for lots of central Edinburg attractions. Lovely residential area. Positive: Great location with walkability to most things in the Castle area. Responsive owner. Negative: Living/reception could use more comfortable furniture according to my husband. For four adults, one more chair? Paper towels and some coffee available upon arrival would go a long way for American visitors.

We love the location but we’ll be staying somewhere else in future. Positive: Location is perfect Negative: Fridge ice dispenser hasn’t worked for over a year. We’ve stayed twice and it’s never been fixed. Dishwasher not working for the second time too. Shower is in need of replacement. The property is expensive and I don’t expect appliances to be broken and not repaired. The owner needs to reinvest some of the profits in some maintenance.

A gem in an amazing city (with coffee nearby!!) Positive: The apartment is enormous compared to other UK properties we have stayed at in cities. Walking distance to everything in central Edinburgh and within 10 minutes walk to the hop on hop off bus routes. The Bonnie Barista serves great coffee and pastries almost directly opposite that opens at 730am. Lovely and warm for our mid winter stay. Christmas markets are nearby. Marco was a pleasure to deal with and we couldn't have asked for better service. Negative: Everything was great.

Nice place but could be soooo much better w/ a few Positive: Location was great. Water pressure in shower was good. Thought it was very clean. Negative: Missing a lot of amenities that could make this stay so much better. The ice maker doesn’t work, there is only 1 hairdryer for 2 bedroom/2bath, no extra pillows and what they did have were flat, tiny mirror to blow dry your hair with in 1 bedroom, no extra towels for 5 nights stay, 2 nonmatching wine glasses, and no Kleenex/tissues.

Positive: Lovely apartment and beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing, it was central to everything and literally when you come out of the apartment and turn the corner is the old " Oxford bar" for any Ian Rankin fans. All directions from the apartment are central. Its only a couple of minutes walk down the street to Princes street where you can get buses and trams and there is a little pop-up market at the end of the road aswell. Negative: Apartment is on a main road so it can be very noisy early morning so not for people who like to get up late in the morning as bedrooms are located at the front of the property but if your an early riser and like to get out and about then it's perfect.

Excellent séjour ! Positive: Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 4 nuits dans ce spacieux appartement, très bien situé au coeur de la New Town, à la fois central et au calme, très propre surtout, avec toutes les commodités à portée de main. Lits très confortables, grands dressings, produits de toilette fournis (shower gel, shampoo), thé et café mis à disposition, un vrai "home away from home"! Home away from home for our family of four and furry friend. Positive: The property is exceptionally well situated boasts excellent amenities. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms are comfortable, clean, and give a home-away-from-home feel. The thoughtful touches, such as the selection of coffees, teas, and biscuits, were greatly appreciated after a long journey from London. Appreciated the staff making the check in and out processes smooth with very clear instructions. Negative: Not much to not like about the property or the staff. Excellent overall.

Perfect location in central Edinburgh. Positive: Great location. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Very nicely furnished. Easy to pick up the keys. Well fitted kitchen with great appliances. Great service from Marco when he acknowledged the problem with the heating. Negative: We had a problem with the heating not being hot enough on the first evening but this was rectified the next morning after another email. There are no curtains in the living room and there was a draught blowing through the vented patio door. Not sure why there are no curtains up - there is a track and rings. The fireplace shown in the photos doesn't work. A bottle of fresh milk in the fridge would have been a welcome addition - many places do this.

Great location, perfect family stay. Positive: The location was perfect for a weekend trip. So conveniently located, and easy to get to. We couldn't have asked for a more central, yet residential location. The flat was equipped with great amenities and was very nicely done up. Clean and comfortable. Great restaurants nearby too. Wij hebben 5 dagen een geweldig verblijf gehad in het appartement en hebben genoten van de bezienswaardigheden in Edinbu Positive: Het is een ruim appartement, sfeervol ingericht, goede bedden en makkelijk bereikbaar. Ondanks dat het een “kelder”appartement is, is er veel lichtinval, waardoor het appartement heel helder is. De ligging is gunstig, wij hebben alle bezienswaardigheden lopend bezocht. De contacten met de beheerder, Marco, waren bijzonder plezierig. Hij was zeer behulpzaam bij onze aankomst en vertrek. Negative: Geen aanmerkingen!

Salvo los detalles expresados la estancia en dicho apartamento., fue muy buena, la situación es esta , muy limpio Positive: El apartamento estaba muy bien, limpio completo…bien ubicado. Negative: Nos costó encontrar la ubicación… una vez encontrada el cajetín de la llave estaba en la pared de enfrente con lo que resultó necesario llamar para que nos indicaran dónde estaba. Las llaves de las duchas no era fácil controlar la temperatura del agua, salía tan caliente que era difícil la ducha… la puerta de entrada tenía la cerradura rota con lo que la puerta por la noche quedaba abierta.

It is on a quiet street with lots of restaurants, grocery, coffee shops a few hundred feet away, and an easy 15 minute walk to old town and all the main tourist attractions. The apartment is brand new, beautifully furnished, and modern. The host is super helpful and responsive. Negative: For us, there were no issues whatsoever. However, people booking should know there is one set of stairs from the ground level down to the apartment at the basement level, and it’s a little tricky if anyone has mobility issues or small children with strollers.

Short Stay in Edinburgh Positive: Location was good and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Princess Street. Close to nice restaurants and coffee shops, slightly quieter side of town and nice for walking and running. Nice kitchen if you plan on cooking. Negative: Unfortunately the most important aspect for a good stay is the beds that you sleep in and the rest that you get at night - it was advertised as King size and in my opinion it was more like Queen size - unless Scotland has a different sizing? The Linen was clean so no issue - but the mattress was not really good in the main en suite bedroom - typical boat bed, so poor sleep! It's also below street level and on both nights we're woken up by council workers checking gas lines and homeless people going through the bins in the early hours of the morning. Also no curtains in the lounge? Rather odd or is it just because the owner thinks everyone is going to try their luck and cram more people in? Wrong approach. So it almost felt like you didn't want to spend time in the apartment other than to wash and sleep. So it was a let down.

Molti negozi e servizi nei paraggi, trovandosi a pochi passi da Princes Street che è la strada commerciale principale della città nuova! Inoltre, l'arrivo dall'aeroporto è immediato con il bus Airlink100 o con il tram, entrambi con fermata a Princes St. a 200 mt dall'alloggio. Negative: Davvero unico appunto, comunque non dipendente dall'alloggio in se è che purtroppo nel periodo di nostra permanenza la facciata del palazzo era in ristrutturazione con impalcatura ed essendo l'alloggio nel basement (piano -1), l'impressione estetica della porta d'ingresso e la fungibilità delle finestre della camera rivolta alla strada non erano il massimo. Probabilmente nella normalità, senza impalcatura non ci sono problemi.

Positive: Die Fragen die wir hatten wurden gleich von Marco beantwortet. Vielen Dank dafür. Es ist eine große Kellerwohnung und sehr zentral gelegen. Alles war vorhanden und es war super sauber. Man konnte zu Fuß in 10 Minuten in der City sein. Das Castle war von unsere Straße sehr gut zu sehen . Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Stadtführung per Bus. Negative: Das große Bad war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Abfluss von der Dusche war nicht in Ordnung. Es brauchte lange ehe das Wasser Abfloss. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Was mich etwas gestört hat war das Gerüst vorm Haus. Dadurch wurde die Treppe zur Wohnung noch schmaler. Und dadurch sah das Anwesen nicht so schön aus. Schade aber nicht zu ändern. Die Parkgebühren. Waren erschreckend teuer.

Cosy, clean and comfortable two bedroom base appartment in the centre of Edinburgh Positive: Location was perfect; in New Town, near Princess Street (shopping area) The appartement was very clean, comfortable and cosy. A very nice kitchen and small living area with a dining seat and couch. Some groceries were there for us to start off our stay, like milk, bread and eggs. Two big bedrooms with large size wardrobes and two bathrooms. The host stayed in contact with me during our stay to make sure everything was okay. He even called us a taxi to bring us to the airport. Perfect location with an exceptional host. Positive: Location, location, location! Location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. 5 min walk to Princess street stop from the airport. We took the Airlink tram suggested by our host. The apartment was really clean and nicely decorated, clean white fluffy towels and comfortable beds. We liked the big rooms, lots of closet space and two bathrooms. Our host Marco went above and beyond helping us with various things and always replied right away.

Positive: Appartamento fantastico, ben oltre le aspettative: super accessoriato, arredato con gusto e calore. posizionato al piano interrato di un edificio in stile georgiano, con finestre all'inglese , pavimenti in parquet nelle zone comuni e moquette nelle camere. la zona pranzo e soggiorno si affaccia su un mini cortile privato. This is a perfect place to stay for a family or two couples. The location is great because while you are only a couple of minutes from Princes Street and the castle is in view from the end of the street, it is the more quiet end of the street and so not noisy at night. The accommodation is very clean and well thought out with everything that you could need. The photos do not really do it justice and both bedrooms are very spacious while the kitchen/ living area is cosy but also functional. The beds are very comfortable and everything provided is of good quality. The owner was quick to respond and there were no issues at all. Would certainly stay here again.

Belo apartamento e bem localizado Positive: Apartamento muito bonito e bem decorado. Confortável e espaçoso. Bem localizado. Com máquina de lavar e secar roupas, 2 quartos e 2 banheiros. O anfitrião sempre foi muito atencioso. Negative: Banheiro da suíte é pequeno, mas se tivesse algumas prateleiras, ajudaria a colocar nossas coisas. Usei um banquinho da sala e ainda assim ficou apertado e desconfortável. Facilmente resolvido com a colocação de prateleiras e também de ganchos para pendurar toalhas. Nos closets não há prateleiras nem gavetas, só um vão, então as roupas ficavam no chão. Nas cabeceiras da cama só há uma pequena mesinha com uma luminária. Meus objetos de cabeceira também ficaram no chão. Facilmente resolvido com a colocação de mesinhas com gavetinha e prateleira. Ações simples que podem proporcionar mais comodidade. Seria bom também que houvesse alguma explicação sobre como usar o forno ao lado da geladeira, se é um microondas. Eu não soube usar. Fica a dica de que a fechadura que abre a porta de entrada é a de baixo, que é meio escondida, o que não foi informado pelo anfitrião, e nós demoramos um pouco para descobrir como abrir a porta. A cozinha é escura e tem poucos utensílios, apesar de ser muito bonita. Como a ideia normalmente não é ficar cozinhando, isso não atrapalhou, mas esquentei leite numa panela, pois não havia leiteira. Também acho que algo simples de ser melhorado, porque vale a pena. O imóvel é muito bom

Heerlijk verblijf in een fijn ruim appartement op een prima locatie! Positive: Ruim en mooi appartement, goede voorzieningen en locatie was heel goed. Met 2 stellen prima verblijf! Negative: Klein aandachtspunt: aantal praktische dingen waren niet aanwezig zoals ophanghaakjes voor handdoeken en we misten een Nespresso :)

Great location for exploring the city, super friendly host, spacious apartment for family or groups for a longer stay. Positive: Spacious apartment, big kitchen and beautiful living room space. Location cannot be better, you can explore everywhere by foot. Macro was super friendly and response to our requests quickly. A great base for longer stays in Edinburgh for family or groups. Negative: The scaffolding around the building, if you have bigger luggages it is pretty annoying to pass the already not so wide entrance at street level. The noise of the plumbing could be disturbing if someone uses the water in the middle of the night. Due to the central location it could be noisy on the weekend, but we have earplugs so it didn’t bother us that much. Mattress in the en-suite is a bit soft for our preference.

El apartamento es lindo, pero no se permite usar el patio/terraza. Positive: El apartamento es lindo y está bien ubicado. Negative: No me gustó que se indique que el apartamento tiene patio/terraza, pero el anfitrión no permite que los huéspedes lo usen. Pagué por un servicio que no se podía usar.

Positive: Apartamento muy bonito, amplio y muy bien ubicado. El anfitrión responde muy rápido. Todo genial. Negative: En general todo correcto. El agua tarda unos segundos en salir al estar en un entresuelo y no tiene opción de guardar maletas.

Modern basement flat in a great location Positive: Very large, comfortable two double bed flat with a sofa bed in the sitting room. The basement flat is excellently specc'd, brilliantly located and very comfortable. Modern, clean bathrooms (one ensuite). There's some road noise, but this is a city, so to be expected. Key sights are in easy walking distance, Mario the host was very responsive. A real find. Negative: There were no curtains in the sitting room, so we couldn't put our daughter on the sofa bed. She shared with her sister in the double. Am sure this will be sorted soon.

Lots of space but needs more light. Positive: Location. Spacious. Well equipped. Clean. Negative: Lighting in kitchen needs to be brighter. I couldn't work out how to watch basic live tv. BBC, ITV, CHANNEL 4 etc. which was a bit annoying. Shame about scaffolding outside but not a problem once in.

Lovely apartment and very central Positive: Very good location and spacious clean apartment Negative: Very dark outside the property so could do with a light so you can see the key lock! and you should maybe warn people about the steep stairs! wouldnt be good for people with mobility issues or small children.

Great stay and would prefer on next trip Positive: The location was amazing and the apartment is same as seen on pictures! It offered all amenties needed and was very clean! Negative: There is a scaffolding around the stairs and it was so dangerous to going up and down from the stairs with a two years old one. If we would all be adults, it would not be an issue though. I don’t like the feeling of being in a basement as we could not have any daylight in the room

Super recomendable! Positive: Muy acogedor, de revista! Todo impecable y puesto con cariño y gusto. Ademas, mejor localizado imposible y pudimos hacer checkin con antelacion y buenas pautas de Marco. Negative: No conseguimos poner la calefaccion aunque fueron dos dias y todo el dia fuera de casa

Good experience Positive: The location was really close to the city and the host was so helpful. House was clean when we arrived and heating already on which was great as it was cold! Negative: We had some issues with the dishwasher meaning it wasn't in use but wasn't the end of the world. Shower door in the main bathroom wouldn't shut properly meaning the floor got very wet.
